OVOS Group Meeting - Under 16's

This month we had virtual two meetings.
As we continue to meet online, we ensure that we take time in the meeting to have fun. We have had quizzes, played charades and scattergrams.

The group discussed the Viewpoint Hub, looking at what they needed to do to trial the pilot and the feedback timescale.
The young people have started looking at creating their own Children Rights booklets, other project is they are getting involved in is Black History Month.

Attendance has been mixed, with 4 attending first meeting and 2 attending second, some young people affected due to technical issues.

Children's Champions

We hold meetings with the Children's Champions every 8 weeks.

We have a representative from most children service teams now. Although a little quiet on attendance since the lockdown.

The aim of these meetings are to share key voice of the child issues from each team, talk about and promote OVOS, individual team updates and other business that gets brought to our attention.

Our Champions have supported past events, activities, helped fundraise individually or within their team, attended OVOS meetings and worked closely with OVOS encouraging their Young people to get involved.

The Champions plan to take part in a Tik Tok dance for Sparkle Up Day.
