Modern Apprentice Starts
Welcome to Saarah, who is our new modern apprentice starting this month.
She will be working with children, young people and professionals, to support active engagement across Solihull.
This will be an 18 month post and she will have the opportunity to work towards Customer Services – Level 2.
We hold meetings with the Children's Champions every 8 weeks.
We have a representative from most children service teams now. Although a little quiet on attendance since the lockdown.
The aim of these meetings are to share key voice of the child issues from each team, talk about and promote OVOS, individual team updates and other business that gets brought to our attention.
Our Champions have supported past events, activities, helped fundraise individually or within their team, attended OVOS meetings and worked closely with OVOS encouraging their Young people to get involved.
The Champions plan to take part in a Tik Tok dance for Sparkle Up Day.
