Just Giving Fundraising

OVOS decided that after a difficult year, that we would set up a Just Giving Crowdfunding page to raise funds for the Care Experienced Young People’s Christmas vouchers.
The page reached great momentum within the first week of sharing and on the second week we reached our target of £3000.
We liaised with the finance team in the council to organise the collection of the money through a bank account, this was a challenge but we have now successfully done it.
The page keeps gaining donations and we are now at £4,283.74
Under 10's Group Meeting - Christmas Crafts
We set up a virtual session that was attended by 6 children. Before the session we had prepared and delivered craft boxes – filled with materials, activity ideas, and most of all hot chocolate and marsh mellows.
In the session we went through one of the craft activities together. We also had a quick Christmas themed quiz. To finish, the children told Christmas Jokes.
Under 16's Group Meeting - Christmas Online
Before our virtual session, we created and delivered 7 craft boxes.
We were joined by 4 young people on the day, who participated in craft activities. The young people also had a go at making an origami mouse (quite complicated!)
- this provided lots of fun and laughter.
The young people also took part in a Christmas quiz.
